1. Install the theme

  1. Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes.
  2. Under Theme library → Add theme → Upload zip file.
  3. Select glam-pastel-shopify-theme.zip and upload.
  4. Click ⋯ → Preview to review, then ⋯ → Publish when ready.

Important: upload the theme ZIP itself — the theme files (layout, sections, templates…) sit at the root of the zip.

2. Create the menu pages

The header Info dropdown and footer link to real pages. Create each under Online Store → Pages → Add page, then on the right under Theme template choose the matching template. You can leave the page body empty — the design & copy are built in.

To set the handle, edit it at the bottom of the page editor (it should exactly match the table).

3. Blog & products

  • Blog: Online Store → Blog posts → Manage blogs → Add blog titled News (handle news), then publish a post.
  • Products & collections: add products under Products; /collections/all always works. Create collections (e.g. new, sale, gifts) to match the homepage tiles.
  • The homepage Best Sellers shows curated demo products with images — edit them (or wire to real products) in sections/glampastel-home.liquid.

4. Customise the look

Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit code.

  • Colours: assets/glampastel.css → the :root block at the top. Change --lav (lavender) and --peach (accent) to re-skin in one place.
  • Fonts: Caveat (script), Fredoka (headings), Nunito (body) — set in layout/theme.liquid.
  • Homepage sections: edit sections/glampastel-home.liquid (hero, categories, products, lookbook, testimonials, newsletter).
  • Header / footer / menu: shared across all pages in layout/theme.liquid.
  • Men / Women products: edit the sample items in templates/page.men.liquid and templates/page.women.liquid.

5. SEO & mobile

  • Ships with meta description, Open Graph & Twitter cards, canonical URL, JSON-LD store schema, a single H1 per page and lazy-loaded images.
  • Fully mobile responsive with a hamburger menu — no horizontal scroll.
  • Set your homepage SEO title/description & social image in Online Store → Preferences.
