Glam Nails — Theme Documentation
Thank you for choosing Glam Nails, an advanced, responsive, SEO-friendly Shopify theme for nail & beauty brands (pop-on manicures, lacquers, treatments, lashes).
1. What's included
- index.html — a complete standalone homepage you can open in any browser.
- shopify-templates-index.json — the Shopify homepage layout (custom sections) for the Dawn theme.
- README.txt — quick-start notes.
2. Install on Shopify (recommended)
- Online Store › Themes › Add the free Dawn theme (or duplicate your current theme).
- Open the theme's ⋯ › Edit code › templates/index.json.
- Replace the contents with shopify-templates-index.json from your download.
- Save, preview, then Publish.
3. Brand colours & fonts
Glam Nails uses a bright palette — white, blush #fff5f7, hot-pink accent #e8568a, ink #1c1014 — with Poppins headings and Jost body. Adjust under Customize › Theme settings › Colors & Typography.
4. Add your logo
Customize › Header › Logo › upload your logo (width ~150px).
5. Sections included
Split hero, marquee ticker, category tiles, New Arrivals, 3-step How-It-Works, Best Sellers, “Loved By” press quotes, trust badges, rewards banner, and newsletter. Collection & blog templates include branded banners.
6. Collections & menu
Create collections (Pop-On Nails, Lacquer, Treatments, Lashes) under Products › Collections and link them in Content › Menus.
7. SEO & responsive
Single H1, semantic headings, descriptive image alt text, fast CDN images, and mobile breakpoints throughout — no horizontal scroll.
