Glam Interiors — Setup Documentation

Thank you for choosing Glam Interiors by Glam Design — a warm, editorial interior-design Shopify theme. This guide walks you through previewing, installing and customizing your theme.

What's in your download

  • glam-interiors-shopify-theme.zip — the complete, installable Shopify theme (upload this in Shopify)
  • index.html — standalone HTML preview (open in any browser)
  • sections/glam-interiors.liquid — homepage section
  • assets/glam-interiors.css & assets/glam-interiors.js
  • SETUP.md / LICENSE.txt

Option A — Install the full theme (recommended)

  1. In Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Click Add theme → Upload zip file and choose glam-interiors-shopify-theme.zip.
  3. Once uploaded, click Customize to review, then Actions → Publish when ready.

Option B — Add the homepage to your existing Dawn theme

  1. Online Store → Themes → ... → Edit code on a Dawn-based theme (duplicate it first to stay safe).
  2. Under Assets, add glam-interiors.css and glam-interiors.js.
  3. Under Sections, add a new section named glam-interiors and paste the contents of sections/glam-interiors.liquid. Save.
  4. Open templates/index.json and replace its contents with:
    {"sections":{"main":{"type":"glam-interiors"}},"order":["main"]}
  5. Click Preview, then Publish when happy.

Customizing

  • Brand colors live in the CSS :root variables (--cream, --clay, --espresso).
  • Swap the demo image URLs in the section for your own product photos.
  • Edit product names, prices and copy directly in the section markup.
  • Fonts: Fraunces (headings) + Inter (body), loaded from Google Fonts.
